The Lord created man from the earth and brings him back into it again.
A certain number of days and time He gave them, and gave them power over everything that is on it.
According to their nature, He clothed them with power, and created them in His own image,
And put the fear of them into all flesh, that he might have dominion over the beasts and the birds.
He gave them sense, tongue and eyes and ears and heart to reason,
filled them with discernment of the mind and showed them good and evil.
He set his eye on their hearts to show them the greatness of his works,
let them glorify his holy name and proclaim the greatness of his works.
He added knowledge to them, and gave them the law of life as an inheritance;
He made an everlasting covenant with them and showed them His judgments.
Their eyes saw the glory of his voice, and their ear heard the glory of his voice.
And He said to them, "Beware of all unrighteousness"; and commanded to each of them the obligation to their neighbor.
Their ways are always before Him; they cannot be hidden from His eyes.
He has appointed a leader for every nation,
but Israel is the possession of the Lord.
All their works are like the sun before him, and his eyes are always in their ways.
Their iniquities were not hidden from Him, and all their sins are before the Lord.
A man's charity is like a seal with him, and he will keep a man's good deed like the apple of his eye.
Then He will rise up and repay them, and what they give on their heads will bring them back.
But He gave repentance to those who repented, and encouraged those who were weak in patience.
Turn to the Lord and leave your sins;
Pray before Him and reduce your stumbling blocks.
Return to the Most High, and turn away from iniquity, and strongly hate abomination.
Who will praise the Most High in hell, instead of those who live and glorify Him?
From the dead, as from the non-existent, there is no glorification:
alive and well will praise the Lord.
How great is the mercy of the Lord and reconciliation with those who turn to Him!
There cannot be everything in a person,
because the son of man is not immortal.
What is brighter than the sun? but it also fades. And flesh and blood will think of evil.
For the forces of the high heavens, He Himself watches, and the people are all earth and ashes.
